The Law Of Attraction and The Skeptics
Being skeptical is healthy, in fact, skepticism keeps one from making foolish mistakes in business, relationships, religion and just plain everyday life.
But logic demands that if one is skeptical, he or she should have evidence for their skepticism. Something to prove to others and to themselves that the business, relationship, religion etc. Does Not, in fact, Work.
To hear something and then dismiss it as hogwash is not proving that it is in error, unworkable or some New Scam Fad. This is merely opinion and as I always say, opinion is nothing but conjecture, something without valid documented proof.
It has truly amazed me that NOW the skeptics are coming out of the woodwork when it comes to The Law Of Attraction and its benefits.
Ever since Oprah presented 2 shows on the subject, the Nay Sayers have jumped on their collective talking head pedestals ranting about how The Law Of Attraction is nothing more than New Age Nonsense. They have a million reasons why it "should not" work and when you ask them if they've tried it, the answer . . . to a Man is always. . .
"No, of course not!"
LOL . . . How can you ever prove that something is indeed nonsense and doesn't work if you've Never Even Tried It?
The belief that "you don't have to prove a negative" is merely a cop-out for those who truly lack proof and a good argument. So the critics just give us reasons why it shouldn't work and never state truths of why it does for those of us who practice it.
We have evidence and that evidence is the wonderful changes in our life experience. The new found freedom, the release of harmful mind-sets, the attraction of Abundance and Prosperity into our lives. These are provable phenomena.
And what is a Phenomenon in this sense?
*Any state or process known through the senses rather than by intuition or reasoning
*A remarkable development
And the Remarkable Developments can be documented as proof. Can the skeptic's opinion be documented? Not with any proof lol.
200 years ago someone could have said,
"A machine to replace a horse . . . Nonsense!!"
"A Flying machine . . . Nonsense!!"
"Moving Pictures . . . Nonsense!!"
"Talking to someone when they aren't even in your presence . . . Nonsense!!"
"Cloning??? . . . Nonsense!!?
"Gene Splicing?? . . . What's A Gene??"
An Open Dare:
Dear Skeptic and Critic,
Please prove that the Law Of Attraction does not work.
How?
By doing it.
Then and only then will your argument be valid.
What are you afraid of?
Do it and then bring me your proof and I will gladly bow to your Evidence.
And please don't hide your results if you are proven wrong. To be proved wrong and then to accept it, is a part of the growing process and a Significant Part of The Law Of Attraction. :-)

Patience and understanding goes hand-in-hand with this Universal Law. It makes living and life just a little bit easier when dealing with those who do not always agree with you :-)

I was interested to read your article and challange on the law of attraction. I wonder if you have any comment on the Stephen pierce-Bob Proctor interview available at www.physicsofgettingwealthy.com/rights/ it seems to imply that we can have everything yet I find this outside of my belief in the universal poweres that run within our lives.

Hi Granitgard,
The simple fact is: We do have everything available at our disposal, be it success, love, happiness or failure and depression etc.
We have the power to introduce any of these into our lives through thought, through visualization.
You are what you perceive, what you believe you and your life to be.
On a basic level, if you think of yourself as a failure...then you are.
If you visualize a better life for yourself and believe it, truly believe it, I mean . . . taste it, feel it, see it happening Right Now, The Law will attract it to you.
It is then up to you to recognize the signals the Law gives you and act on them.
The Law will place coincidences (there's no such thing) based on your thoughts. It is then up to you to ACT on those signals.
